Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Todd Blackmon, P.E., LEED AP BD+C to Vice President. As Vice President, Mr. Blackmon will continue to lead site design for shopping center developments, master planned mixed-use developments, single- and multi-family residential developments, and roadway design.
With 22 years’ experience in Civil Engineering and Environmental services, Mr. Blackmon has successfully contributed to many projects, such as the master planned developments of Veramendi and Westpointe; residential developments, such as Redbird Ranch, Iron Horse Canyon, Turning Stone, Cottonwood Creek, and Whisper Falls; and commercial developments across South Texas with developers, such as Walgreens, H-E-B, and Circle K.
In addition to his project experience, he maintains active membership in the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce and the Real Estate Council of San Antonio.
“Todd’s experience in both commercial and residential projects will be an asset to our leadership team,” Pape-Dawson Engineers’ Chief Executive Officer, Sam Dawson, P.E. said. “His integrated knowledge base will help us better serve our clients.”
Mr. Blackmon earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1996. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas, and is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Building Design, and Construction certified.
